JAZZ IMPROVISATION WORKSHOPS FOR YOUNG WOMEN – FINAL CONCERT

During the last 2 months a talented group of young female musicians has participated in workshops directed by outstanding saxophonist Sandy Evans in aspects of Jazz improvisation.

Many of the students had not played jazz until the start of this course 2 months ago.

In addition to Sandy Evans the students were taught by jazz pianist Monique Lysiak, bassist Zoe Hauptmann and guitarist Jess Green.

Guest tutors included bassist Craig Scott, trombonist James Greening and drummer Toby Hall.

The public is welcome to come along and celebrate the progress they have made!
