David Jones & Friends

David Jones is a man with vision and wide concepts – a master of the drums and also Tibetan and Japanese singing bowls. This exciting concert will be a SIMA debut for Evripides, Lucinda and Sam.

No stranger to Sydney audiences, David has played many times since 1992 for SIMA with varied projects such as Atmasphere, Tree, David Jones Trio and Fiona Burnett Trio.

Joining him from Melbourne is the phenomenal bass player Evripides, with whom David has collaborated many times – the two share a near-telepathic connection.

Sam McNally is a diverse and internationally renowned keyboard player and composer extraordinaire, while Lucinda Peters is a unique musician with the voice of an angel and mastery of several instruments. Her presence and compositions are divine.

Expect a concert that is intriguingly beautiful, meditative and powerful.
