James Muller Trio

SIMA is thrilled to welcome back James Muller in his renowned trio format.

A formidable guitarist, James Muller’s most recent release, Kaboom, recorded in New York last year, was called his best recording to date (SMH).

Busy touring nationally and performing abroad with his own bands and as a member of others, James’ other achievements include co-winning the National Jazz Awards held at the Wangaratta Jazz Festival, two Mo awards for best jazz instrumentalist and best jazz group, an APRA award and the 2004 Freedman Fellowship (Jazz).
Right from the opening this album explodes with the promise of its title. Sydney guitarist Muller has scored a triumph – John Macbeath.
