Ten Part Invention

With four CDs, some important voices in contemporary jazz on board and 21 years of performing outstanding original music, Ten Part Invention are, as described by many critics, Australia’s best large jazz ensemble and a phenomena.

I love larger ensembles that combine writing and improvisation. There are great ones in Europe, and we have a couple here, including the Art Orchestra. Ten Part Invention stands, with its own personality and commitment, beside anything for me – John Clare.
