Tina Harrod has one of those gorgeous vocal instruments, which just oozes soul, sex and sensuality – SMH.

SIMA is pleased to present Australia’s “queen of soul”, Tina Harrod, performing music from her stunning second solo album Worksongs with a stellar band. Expect to hear the power and emotion of jazz greats like Nina Simone and Billie Holiday and her own soul terrain.

As well as jazz spins on songs such as Stevie Wonder’s Big Brother and her beautiful rendition of Nick Drake’s Riverman, Tina will perform some of her own songs from her acclaimed debut album Shacked up in Paradise.

Working for many years with Australia’s soul and funk icon, Jackie Orszazcky on projects including the renowned Grandmasters, as well as many other prominent musicians, Tina has stepped forward to front a great band of her own. Come and enjoy!
