Following the 2008 release of their third studio album Radiola, the Andrew Robson Trio is back at the Sound Lounge.

Together since 1995, these three musicians have a unique rapport that is evident live on stage as well as in their recordings.

Led by Freedman winner and member of many of Sydney’s great bands (Ten Part Invention, Mara ensemble, Duo Sympatico and The World According to James) the band has many acclaimed performances and tours behind them, including invitations to perform at the prestigious Berlin Jazz Festival 2008.

Jess Green

Bandleader, composer and guitarist Jess Green is a first class honours graduate of the Canberra School of Music, ANU, majoring in guitar.

Winner of the 2006 Rutherford Memorial Award, Jess has performed her original compositions with her own bands (including her septet) at many established Australian Jazz venues and festivals, including Melbourne Women’s International Jazz Festival, Devonport Jazz Festival and Palmer St Jazz Festival (QLD) as well as playing at Blues/Funk/Rock venues in a variety of bands.

Jess is also a highly sought after teacher and tutors guitar, aural, history and theory at The Australian Institute of Music and tours regularly throughout Australia for MUSICA VIVA.

Her trio plays a diverse mix of 50’s and 60’s standards as well as original compositions, a fresh young band playing on the Sydney and national circuit.
