The Mike Nock Project, a true Super-Band featuring a line-up of award-winning heavyweights, including Phil Slater and James Greening, is one of Australia’s premier large jazz ensembles.

Led by pianist/composer Mike Nock, one of Australia’s most successful keyboardists, the music they make has been described as ‘full of memorable melodies and insistent rhythms – Joyous music, brilliantly performed’ (Limelight). The Project’s debut CD, Meeting Of The Waters, was short-listed for both the 2008 ARIA Jazz and Jagermeister AIR awards. An inter-generational contemporary group, the MNP play new music, informed by many musics.
