One of Australia’s most original and accomplished modern jazz soloists, alto saxophone legend Bernie McGann turns 75 later this year and SIMA kicks off the2012 season with his band in top form. McGann’s playing is distinctively his own, original and unmistakable.

Add to this the special experience of hearing trumpeter Warwick Alder and a very connected rhythm section, inspired drumming by Andrew Dickeson and the supreme bass of Brendan Clarke.
