Waldo Fabian is one of Australia’s most exciting and original Latin artists.

A founding member of the Catholics, he is a bassist, composer and producer who has worked with various pop, Latin and jazz bands and musicians including Floyd Vincent, Kevin Hunt, Amazonia, Craig Walters and many more, as well as having two solo albums to his credit: Dejame Tocarte, a South American release through Sony and Loco.

His versatility also includes writing film scores and for television – his song Love Addiction featured in the HBO film Purple Haze.

Currently Waldo is composing music for film and getting ready to start promoting his new album Groovy Cumbia. He has enjoyed No.1 single status on Chile’s premier station, Radio Corazon, so now it’s time for Sydney audiences to reclaim him!

The Waldo Fabian Quartet highlights his instrumental compositions. The band is comprised of four outstanding musicians, all well know in the local jazz scene. The line up includes Toby Hall on drums, Ed Goyer on piano and vibraphone and Dan Waples on saxes. Together they bring an engaging and well-crafted fusion of Jazz, Latin and funk.
